The Interview
Emmalee, thanks for being our employee spotlight this month! Let’s take a quick look at your past first. Before working at Tafi, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
At one point, I worked for a physical therapist and taught exercise classes at a nursing home. I absolutely loved working with the residents there.
That sounds so wholesome! Now, to the present. Are there any passion projects you are currently working on and want to share with us?
My daughter and I go around and pick up trash from canals, trails, lakes, and more whenever possible. We want to make sure we do our part to preserve areas of land that are frequented by wildlife. This has been my passion project for about four years now.
You’re an inspiration to each of us. We love that! What else do you like to do in your free time?
I love hiking and paddleboarding! On the weekends, I'm usually in the mountains or on a lake.
And what about your favorite food?
Ooh. My favorite food has to be curry.
Delicious! Now, if you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lime Gose from Red Rock Brewery in Salt Lake City is the best!
Along the same vein, if you could only have one "specialty drink" for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely horchata.
Nice choice! What is your favorite travel destination?
I love traveling to different places. I think the best place I've traveled to in the last few years has to be Seattle.
It’s such a fun and beautiful place! And we love that Tafi gives us opportunities to work with incredible people from all over the world. Thanks for (digitally) sitting down with us, Emmalee, so we can get to know you better!
